Your agreement
These terms apply to the Thrume beta operated by Antler Digital. Contact team@antler.digital with questions.
Applying and accepting these terms
Apply using an email address you are authorized to use. By accepting these terms and confirming your email, you agree to them for yourself and, if you apply for an organization, confirm that you have authority to do so. We record the version you accepted and the time of submission and email verification. Confirming your email does not grant access: an administrator must approve your beta application. Approval is not guaranteed.
Your public beta access
Approved public beta access is free until we announce the end of the beta. We will notify the approved account email before beta access ends and explain the available next steps. A future paid service requires a separate agreement; submitting a beta application does not authorize a charge. Approved workspaces start on the Team tier with 25 GB of shared storage, including uploaded and derived media. Uploading or processing can be limited when the workspace reaches its allowance.
Accounts, invitations and workspace authority
Keep sign-in codes, recorder authorization and assistant connections secure. Workspace owners and administrators decide whom to invite and must review their permissions. An email domain alone does not grant workspace membership. Beta workspaces use a work-domain boundary and allow up to two distinct personal email domains through invitations. Project and recording permissions can further limit access. Do not share another person’s credentials or use their invitation.
Your recordings and permission to use them
You retain your rights in the content you provide. You authorize us to host, process, transmit and display that content as needed to operate Thrume according to your settings and authorized instructions. This includes processing you enable, such as hosted transcription, and returning evidence to an assistant you authorize. You must have the rights and permissions needed to record, upload and share the content, including information about employees, clients and other people. Follow the recording and privacy rules that apply to your circumstances.
Review the audience before sharing
New recordings begin as private drafts. Before publishing or creating a guest link, review the screen video, audio, screenshots and logs and choose an appropriate audience. Debug redaction can reduce exposure of some sensitive values; it cannot remove every sensitive detail from visible content or log text. Guest links can be forwarded. Revoking access stops future access through that authorization, but cannot recover content already downloaded or retrieved by a recipient or assistant.
Intended use and mass viewing
Thrume is for asynchronous communication and collaboration with an intended audience, such as teammates, clients and project participants. It is not a public video platform like YouTube or a service for mass viewing, public broadcasting or bulk media distribution. Unless we agree in writing beforehand, do not use Thrume as the video delivery service for a public audience channel, high-traffic website or app, advertising campaign, streaming service, or course or entertainment distribution platform. This includes embedding or directly linking media files to offload another service’s traffic, using autoplay or looping players to generate repeated delivery, and reselling Thrume’s hosting or delivery capacity. Ordinary team updates, internal training and client walkthroughs remain permitted within applicable usage limits. A guest link, storage allowance or ability to play a video does not include unlimited viewing, downloads, bandwidth or processing. Contact support before a planned distribution likely to create unusually high traffic.
Traffic limits and protective action
We may apply proportionate limits to playback, downloads, requests, concurrent use, uploads, storage and processing to protect service availability and control excessive resource consumption. We may assess volume, frequency, duration, automated or repeated access, and aggregate use across recordings, links and related accounts. Staying within a storage allowance does not exempt other resource use. If activity breaches these terms, exceeds a communicated allowance, or creates a material risk to the service or disproportionate resource consumption, we may throttle or block traffic, disable affected guest links, restrict a recording or feature, or suspend the affected account or workspace. A traffic surge caused by unexpected popularity or a third party may require a temporary restriction even where the account holder has not engaged in misconduct. Where practicable, we will warn the account contact and allow an opportunity to reduce usage; urgent protection may require action without advance notice. We will explain the restriction and how to request review as soon as reasonably practicable, unless doing so would compromise security or conflict with applicable requirements. Routine allowances will be communicated before they apply. These protections do not authorize an additional charge without a separate agreement.
Use the service responsibly
Use recording, debugging and assistant features only with systems and information you are authorized to inspect. You must not use Thrume for the following activities or knowingly help others carry them out. Authorized use of supported recorder, API and assistant features remains permitted within applicable permissions and limits.
- Uploading or sharing unlawful or infringing content, stolen information, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content used for threats, harassment or doxxing; recording or disclosing another person’s information without the rights and permissions required in the circumstances.
- Phishing, scams, deceptive impersonation, distributing malware, stealing credentials or unauthorized surveillance. Do not use invitations, comments, guest links or other service features for spam or unsolicited bulk messaging.
- Accessing or collecting another person’s recordings, logs, account or workspace information without authorization; guessing or harvesting access links or tokens; or concealing unauthorized access through another person’s account or assistant connection.
- Generating artificial views, using bots or repeated downloads to inflate traffic, conducting load or security tests against Thrume without prior written permission, or otherwise disrupting or deliberately exhausting the service.
- Evading limits, charges or restrictions by rotating accounts, workspaces, invitations, share links, tokens, network addresses or recording copies; obtaining duplicate trial or beta allowances through deception; or reopening access to content restricted for misuse.
- Using uploads as general file storage, a backup service or a file-distribution network unrelated to permitted recording workflows; disguising unrelated files as recording artifacts; or using processing or assistant features as a bulk scraping, transcription, inference or media-conversion service.
Reporting misuse and cooperating with review
Report suspected misuse or a rights concern through the support contact above. Include the affected recording link or identifier, a short explanation and a way to contact you. Do not attach unlawful material or include live passwords, sign-in codes or access tokens. We may investigate relevant activity and reports and restrict access while a concern is reviewed, handling information as described in the privacy notice. You agree to cooperate reasonably in stopping misuse under your control and securing compromised accounts or links. You may contact support to challenge a restriction. A report or unusual traffic alone does not establish a violation; we will consider the available evidence and restore access when a restriction is no longer justified.
Recording evidence and AI output
The Mac recorder requires macOS 15 or later. Debug sources must be connected and selected for the recording; Thrume cannot recover logs that were never captured. Local voice enhancement, Thrume-hosted AI and external MCP access are separate choices. Hosted AI requires a workspace owner or administrator to enable it. External assistants require their own authorization and handle retrieved information under their provider’s terms. Review generated titles, summaries, suggested diagnoses and proposed fixes. A nearby error does not prove a root cause, and recording evidence does not certify that software is correct.
Video expiry and your own copies
Beta account access and a recording’s video expiry are separate. Check the expiry shown in the app and renew eligible video before it expires. Video expiry can affect playback while related evidence remains available; deleting a recording is a separate action that removes access and starts cleanup of its associated content. Keep your own copies of recordings you need to retain. Revoking a link, removing a member, deleting cloud content and removing a local Mac copy are different actions. The privacy notice explains the service’s current retention and deletion behavior.
An evolving beta and support
The beta is an evolving service. Features and supported setup paths may change, and interruptions or defects can occur. Test your recording setup before relying on it for an important session. Contact support for access, recording or service issues, and preserve unsynced local recordings while an upload problem is investigated. Support is provided without a guaranteed response time or service-level commitment under these beta terms.
Pausing or ending access
In addition to the traffic protections above, we may limit or suspend access to investigate reasonably suspected misuse, protect accounts or the service, or comply with applicable requirements. We may remove violating content or end access for serious or repeated violations, or if misuse continues after a reasonable request to stop. We will choose a response proportionate to the risk and explain the action through the account email, including how to contact support for review, as soon as reasonably practicable unless security or applicable requirements prevent it. An urgent issue may require action first. A temporary traffic restriction does not itself delete your recordings. Where safe and lawful, we will work with the authorized account contact on retaining permitted content before permanent closure. You can stop using Thrume at any time and contact support to request account closure. Before leaving, retain the recordings you need and review your sharing and assistant connections. Account closure and content cleanup are handled separately from deletion of local or previously exported copies.
Changes to this agreement
We identify each published version and retain the terms and privacy notice associated with verified application acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to affected account emails before we ask you to accept a new agreement for continued beta access. Contact support with questions about a current or historical version. These terms do not take away rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
